Europe’s Grand Canyon
The Su Gorropu Gorge known as Europe’s Grand Canyon has walls of rock up to 450 metres high and a deep cleft dug by thousand’s of years of erosion by the waters of the Flumineddu River in the Supramonte. The bottom of the gorge is full of big white levigated rocks.
It is located between Ogliastra and Barbagia. It is perfectly embedded between the mountains and the sea and it’s such a spectacular place that you can’t afford to miss o your holiday.
