Serra Orrios

A journey to the past

The Nuragic village of Serra Orrios is one of the biggest and best conserved in Sardinia. It is built from around 100 huts, circular in shape, making up different areas linked to each other. Due to its dimensions and urban organisation, the village can be considered a protourban settlement. The amount of evidence found during excavations, exhibited today in the Dorgali archaeological museum, tells us that they date back to the Mid- and Recent-Bronze age.
